Cyanide Safety & Emergency Response Training

June
16 & 17

2022// 8am

Cyanco is pleased to announce the return of its Cyanide Safety Training!!
This annual event is a no-cost service we’re happy to provide to our valued customers in the effort to keep everyone safe along the cyanide value chain. After a brief hiatus due to COVID, we have expanded the 2022 program to combine our traditional cyanide safety curriculum with an emergency response session, including a full-scale emergency response demonstration. Join us to take advantage of this opportunity to refresh your cyanide safety knowledge!

The Cyanide Safety Program is designed to provide mine safety and operations professionals with an understanding of cyanide chemistry and safe, responsible chemical use throughout production, transport and storage. A tour of Cyanco’s cyanide production facility will also be provided on Thursday. For participants who are not interested in the Basic Incident Command System and Hazmat session, you are welcome to join us for 9-holes of golf at the Winnemucca Golf Course.  Presented in a Train-the-Trainer format, you can bring these learnings back to your teams with the latest in cyanide safety and proper handling practices.

The 2022 Cyanide Training & Emergency Response training includes:

  • Cyanide Characteristics and Risks
  • Safe Handling, Storage & Work Practices
  • Transportation and Packaging
