RENO – April 25, 2011 – Cyanco Holding Corporation (“Cyanco”) announced today that it completed two expansion projects at its sodium cyanide plant in Winnemucca, Nevada, thereby increasing total production capacity from 40,000 to 70,000 tonnes per year. This completes the company’s effort, which was initiated two years ago, to increase Cyanco’s ability to supply its customers in the United States and Canada. Cyanco operates two independent plants at its Winnemucca facility. The first plant began operations in 1990 and the second plant in 1997.

In addition, Cyanco has received certification under the International Cyanide Management Code (“ICMC”) for a new supply chain for rail shipments originating from Nevada to its terminal in Cadillac, Quebec (for more information on the “Code” please visit the ICMC website at www.cyanidecode.org). Cyanco has established this new supply chain and is supplying its customers in eastern Canada from the Cadillac terminal.

John Burrows, President and CEO stated, “Completion of our Winnemucca expansion ensures Cyanco’s ability to meet the needs of our customers in the United States and Canada and support growth in those markets. Cyanco remains committed to delivering a reliable supply of product to our customers and providing those customers with technology for the safe and effective use of sodium cyanide.”

Cyanco has been a leader in the development and implementation of the International Cyanide Management Code (ICMC) and is represented on the Industry Advisory Group to the International Cyanide Management Institute.
