Cyanco Names Global Chemical Industry Veteran David Ming as Chief Executive Officer

Sugar Land, TX., February 24, 2023 – Cyanco, a leading global producer of mineral extraction technologies, today announced that David Ming has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer.

Ming brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across the global industrial and chemical sectors, having served in a range of commercial, operations, and business development roles. He joins Cyanco from Huntsman Corporation where he most recently served as Vice President of its Performance Products business in the Americas. Prior to that, he served in a similar role for the company’s APAC region. During his time at Huntsman, he oversaw the significant growth as well as strong financial performance of his product segments.

Prior to Huntsman, Ming held senior leadership roles at INVISTA, a Koch Industries company, and Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., in both the United States and Asia. Ming began his career in the U.S. Air Force where he served for four years, earning the rank of Captain. He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and received a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Dayton.
