Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Recently appointed to the Commercial Management role for the US and LATAM, I assist the Commercial Team to identify and drive new growth opportunities, while helping to retain and nurture existing customers. I’m focused on safety, customer satisfaction, risk mitigation and profitable sales – as well as creating a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and teamwork.

Professional Journey:  With a legal assistant and Certified Purchasing Management (C.P.M) degree I began my career in mining in 1995. I spent the first 12 years of my journey working for an OEM equipment manufaturer, P&H Mining Equipment, in many different capacities including Parts, Service, Safety and HR.  In 2007 I joined Newmont as a Category Manager within Supply Chain. Throughout my 12 years with Newmont, I held many positions including Category Manager, Supply Chain Manager, and Full Potential Supply Chain Lead. In 2019 I moved with the merger of Barrick and Newmont to Nevada Gold Mines as a Site Commercial and Supply Chain Manager for both the Goldstrike and Cortez Mines.  In mid 2021, I left Nevada Gold Mines for a short stint with First Majestic as the Supply Chain Manager before they closed the Jerritt Canyon Gold Mine in 2023. Today, I am proudly employed with Cyanco, the global leader in mineral extraction chemicals for the gold and silver mining industries.

Favorite Thing About Working at Cyanco:  I love this industry, especially the people, enjoy my job, and am so thankful for the many opportunities mining has provided me and my family over the past 30 years.  I feel like we’re doing important work by supporting our customers and the overall industry – especially as mining becomes ever more important to the future. Remember if it can’t be grown, IT’S MINED!
